There are currently two major processes in the world, one is the TALALAY method and the other is the Dunlop method. TALALAY production process include mixing, injection molding, vacuuming, freezing, curing and other processes.DUNLOP basic process include mixing, foaming, injection molding, curing, washing, drying and other components.
Obviously, the Talalay process uses a physical foaming principle (that is, suction vacuum), while the DUNLOP process uses the chemical foaming principle, the biggest difference is that one is after the first injection molding foaming, one is the first foam injection molding, Therefore, the cost and difficulty of TALALAY process should be much larger than the DUNLOP process.
The latex that is foamed by the Talalay process is an open cell structure, while after Dunlop technology foam latex belongs to the closed-cell structure, so Talalay latex has better elasticity and air permeability, but the process is more complex, cost higher, and difficult to develop new products; and the Dunlop technology products have the advantages of low cost, fast development.
